Hi, Ive been shaving my arms for a couple of years now, and ive started getting a redish rash on my upper arms. My upper arms are covered in little raised dots also. Im not sure if this is from shaving or something else but if anyone knows what it is or how to get rid of it, it would be very much appreciated, thanks.

Hm I dunno. Try switching razors or shaving cream. Or using lotion afterwards. I used to shave my arms too but it looks terrible when it's growing back and I'm so darn lazy, I couldn't do it every 2 -3 days as needed.

Now, I rarely shave my legs or pits either but that's for another thread, I guess.

Quit shaving for a while and see if it goes away. Besides I think hairy womens sexy
unless it's the bearded lady at the circus. :p

I shave my arms too and never had any rash and I have kinda sensitve skin.. I have had rashes on my legs though. Maybe its the soap or shaving cream you're using, try changing that and see what happens. Also sometimes when I shave my legs when I'm not showering I tend to get rashes, so if you're not doing it in the shower maybe thats it.. Could be something really simple like that.

my son who does not shave has the same thing.
I've considered: sweat irritation, hormonal /arm acne, irritation from shirts.
    no luck on anything yet.
