Girls, you are so powerful, dammit - I admit defeat

The other day, I was at a bar with some friends. One of them had brought along a very sexy single girl and she was wearing a fantastic outfit. She was clearly onto something.

Now I didn't feel targetted or a candidate per se, but playing is always fun. After a few drinks, this girl started giving out signals, to some of the guys.

One signal was extremely subtle and it made me realize how powerful women really are. It was simple and went like this:

-she stood up straight with a drink in her hand
-brings the glass to her mouth and drinks
-while she drinks she does two things:
(1) she looks you straight in the eyes, but only a fraction of a second
(2) while she does so, she threw her shoulders back so her breasts moved forward, and at the same time she pushed her booty back -- but everything just a millimeter! Almost unnoticeable. Only the person at who she looks would notice it.

So simple and quick and subtle, but super-powerful. I immediately felt my hormones pumping.

Women have the capacity to control men entirely. Do you realize this??!! It's incredible! And do you do it consciously or is it subconscious?

They don't have that ability, yes of course they can control anyone who's a slave to his (or her) libido... But some of us do have a will besides that...

 

john, have you tried thinking in terms of EMpowerment rather than POWER "over" something or someone? your paradigm seems to be very much one of power and "survival of the fittest". it's a little narrow...and you're missing out on so much.

maybe you should have a read about integral theory and spiral dynamics...life isn't as static and one-dimensional as you seem to think...

Some women, just like some men, are naturally seductive; regardless of looks or beauty. I wish I had it!

 

Yes, the girl in question wasn't really "beautiful" or "pretty" in the cliché sense of the term; it was just a fantastic show of the art of seduction. I'm still wondering whether she did it consciously or subconsciously though.

I do think everyone has it inside of him/her, it's just a matter of daring to release it.

 

No, mighty toenail, you're referring to rationalisations and philosophical reflections. I'm talking about something much deeper here, about something far more subconscious, spontaneous, natural.

Empowerment is nice, but it's a political and representational agenda taught at academia. Not my cup of tea. It's for spoiled brats!

 

I'm thinking that everyone has that sort of power over someone. This woman you speak of, may have had that impact on you, where it may not have worked on me. Another woman maybe, with the certain things she does and the way she looks at me, may seduce me into her grasp, by following some formula of behavior which would only work on a select few.

I can seduce a girl I work with, and according to her reaction I am very powerful, but her friend is ironclad and electromagnetically force fielded against my charms, and will never submit even if I was the last man on earth.

It's the It Factor. The person doesn't necessarily have to be the classic beauty they just ooze sensuality. Sometimes they work it but usually it just comes from with in.

 

If it had truly been a power, it would have worked on ALL THE MALES that were with her, and she would then have taken her pick of the bunch!

It worked on the one person interested enough to be looking at her in the pricise moment.. Half the job was already done for her!

John, you actually take away from them with these kinds of posts... Women are regular human beings, not something to be enshrined or fetishized. They are not some kind of ideal, but individuals of flesh and bones.


Nothing that you describe seems to be impossible for men to do just as powerfully. Many women can tell you about similar experiences to the one you had in their interaction with men.

 

powers of seduction are totally dependent on the person not the sex. Men can be super seductive while some women can be an embarressment.
