Did I mention this is my step-son? That may be true, but gets me no closer to an appropriate gift. hahaha! With an IPOD, he would need computer access to download songs, right?
ipod is a good idea.. if you're going for gaming systems, i'd definitely ahve to say go with the Wii... those things are so cool! what kinda stuff is he into?
you have to have a computer, yeah, but you can add songs from cds, you dont HAVE to download the songs..
Hum...Well, I'd say an iPod. I have one and it is the most amazing thing ever. I think i have the 5th gen one. It plays videos, holds music (duh), and picture. It's pretty cool.
get him a pair of moccasins i need some new ones haha if he were me hed be happy with that, but hes probly not like me
A book is always a good book in my opinion. Maybe it's because i read a lot but i'm always very happy when i get a book..
an mp3 player is a great idea! i've never been a big fan of ipod's, and if you're on a budget, definitely shop around. i got mine, which holds 1 gig (about 500 songs) for 60 dollars... and similar ipod's (the ipod shuffle) hold the same amount, don't have a screen for seeing what music you are playing, and cost 100 dollars. and yes, you'll need a computer. and file sharing things is a good way to get music for free, but you can get viruses from them...
THANKS GUYS! On a MP3 can you copy songs from your CD's? I sure like the price. I bought him snowboarding lift tickets for his birthday, so have tapped that out. Concert tickets is a good idea - if I can find something this time of year - most good shows are in the spring and summer around here. Moccasins, I never thought of.........don't know if he would like them or not. He's just starting to embrace a hippie kinda style, so maybe.... And a book? I personally would love that, but I don't think he's really much of a reader. Does anybody have a book to suggest that might appeal to someone like that?
you can't copy songs straight from cds... like, you need to have a computer to upload the cds to and then you hook the mp3 player up to the computer and just put the stuff on there (it's easy to figure out once you're there), but since you're on the forums i assume you have a computer, hehe. and for a book... you could just get him a gift certificate to barnes and noble. but i've always been the sort to like personal gifts. but then again, i'm not a boy, and he'd probably like it.
Touche!... he is only 15... and i was what... 18?... god that seems like so long go... yah maybe another book would be more appropriate....
