Hello! After being gone for 15 days our dog showed up at the front door cold, hungry, limping and a little bloody but he was just as glad to see us - as we were to see him. I was beging to turn into a bit of a scrooge because I didn’t want to go through a Christmas with out him. So I am really glad he is safely home and I can enjoy another Christmas season. Cheers and Merry Christmas!
aw, YAY!! my little sister lost my mother's beloved dog, baby, 15 miles from home. she jumped out of the car and ran off. my mom was out looking for her every day. she got all kinds of reports on baby, all pointing to the fact that she was slowly making her way home. she'd join up with someone walking their dog, going in her direction, then hide out. took her 5 days, but she got home.
aww, thats so good, i lost my dog once, but we found him, after about 3 days, but we were all so sad, and didnt stop looking, they become such a part of your life, sorry you had to go through that, but i bet s/he will be spoiled this christmas!
I thank you all for the warm replies. We are snowed in right now but I sure am glad our dog Sundance is safe and warm here with us. He might have a broken or badly sprained ankle and the bottom of his paws were bloody so I figure he has been trying to get home for a while. (I think some heartless people took him for a ride) It is kind of amazing to think of what he endured to get home to us – there is over a foot of snow on the ground and he had a sore ankle so he certainly will get spoiled this Christmas. Cheers and a happy and special Christmas to all.
