Soooo, how do you know you are pregnant while on the pill? Because apparenrly getting your period is a "fake" period because you are off the hormones.. so I am confused.. how will I ever know if I am pregnant? .. do you not get this "fake" period if you are pregnant?. wow, sorry if that all sounded confusingg.

The pill is only 99% effective, and there are things that can compromise its' effectiveness, as I'm sure you know, so yes, it is one of the best methods of contraception out there, but you can still fall pregnant on it (if it has been compromised in any way).

Even though the pill causes a "false"/ withdrawal bleed each month, if you are pregnant, you would still skip a bleed BUT remember also that you can have a light bleed even if you are pregnant - it's called an implantation bleed. Generally though, if you are pregnant, you would have other symptoms as well (such as nausea, fatigue etc) and not just a lack of a period. I would say that if at any stage you have any suspicions that you might be preggies, then to put your mind at rest take a pregnancy test.

I've had a few such "scares" and usually it is nothing, but rather safe than sorry!

1 March 1983 I was admitted into Ventura County Hospital in California, USA for routine surgery. While in surgery the Doctor (Jonathan Richard McGrath, Born 29 September 1949) removed my ovary without my permission. He used my ovary and ovum’s for his Intro-Vito experiments. Many of my children were born to surrogate mothers. Some of the mothers didn’t even want to get pregnant. I believe that this violates my rights and the rights of the surrogates.

By the law in the USA the children born to a surrogate mother still belong to the biological mother unless there has been a prior arrangement. There was not any prior agreement. I was given no consideration in the matter of my children. I want to be consulted about the custody do my children. I want to have custody of all the children, But I know that isn’t reasonable.
I, at least want to be consulted regarding the custody of my children.

Doc Mc Grath stole my ovary, March 1st ’83. Doc McGrath used it for his intro-veto experiments. Some of the surrogate mothers that gave birth to my children didn’t even want to get pregnant. Some of the women were on birth control pills when he implanted my ovum’s. Some of the children were put up for adoption. The Government did DNA testing and found out that the children were mine. (Although I had my tubes tied in March ‘83 and a hysterectomy in ‘97) The children are too young to come from my womb. But all the children are still mine according to the DNA.

Without consulting me, Child Protective Services is accusing me of abandoning my children. But, there are more children than is humanly possible for one woman to have. The math doesn’t figure. The Judge in Ventura found out about the Medical malpractice and ordered for me the “biological mother” to be paid a certain amount of money for each child. But, Nevada County thought I didn’t deserve the money since I don’t even have custody of the children. Please give this matter special consideration.

well look for other signs and symptoms of pregnancy. plenty of websites that list those. if you feel that you might be pregnant, then take a pregnancy test (yes they work even if u're on BC) and if it comes out positive STOP BC RIGHT AWAY!

and while we're on failure rates, nothing in life is 100%. even sterilization has failure rates. vasectomy is approx 1:600-2000 depending on which study u look at and in tubal ligation in ladies is approx 1:300-400 again depending on study. so why sterilize? well the failure rates are much better than pharmacological methods where the best of this is only 1-2:100 failure.

I once saw a lady where both she and her partner were sterilized (both had previous marriages) and they were dumbfounded to find out she was pregnant (with her 3rd child and his 4th) they ended up keeping the baby though and the next time I saw her at post natal, she told me how happy she was to have kept the baby and thanked me for not offering her a termination straight off (first time I met her was at the BC clinic where she had been booked for termination).

i dont no why i knew i was preggers as i hadnt had a period for over a year at that time, i jus had this feelin i felt diffrent. mood swings, crying for no reason, felt a lil sick so and and so on

you can take a pregnancy test even if your on the pill, and you can ask for a blood test from the docs, so no reason to think your never know! just go do it!
