oh my GOD it's really snowy out there...

i have to take kai to school by nine. i wonder if mother nature knows i don't know how to drive in snow. personlly, i'm looking for a place to send a complaint letter. you think the local weather man is the appropriate person to receive such a letter?

well, i can't for the life of me see why it's not shut down here. this is unnatural.

 

Wow, it's been so unseasonably warm where I live. It's actually supposed to reach a high of 67 today, which is just crazy. Normally we're in the 30's or lower 40's this time of year with snow. It feels like spring out. Nuts I tell you! We've been in the 60's for a couple of weeks. Global warming anyone?

 

I don't know how to drive in the snow either
but that's mostly because I don't have my license. Here, snow is part of life, we have it like 6 months of the year. Go slow, assume it'll take you longer to start moving than normal (snow slippery), just be really cautious, avoid roads that aren't used a ton becuase the snow won't be squished down yet very well ('less you have an offroad vehicle). Make sure you warm your car first, wipe off the snow, scrape off teh ice, that sort of thing.

 

well, my poor old car wouldn't start anyway. hehe. i never thought a busted old car would ever be a good thing.

 

Well at least you got out of having to drive in the snow! I get really nervous driving in the snow when the roads are all icy and slick. Scarey stuff. Last year when I was taking my oldest to kindergarten one very snowy morning, I was coming up to the stop sign and my van just starts skidding out into the intersection, I was driving super slow, it was just when I went to brake, I hit some black ice and we slid. Luckily, there weren't any other cars coming, but it was scarey regardless when you feel the car going out of control!

 

Yea for some reason its like 65 degrees and rainy here....feels like May. Its actually colder in my apartment than outside, for a mysterious reason

I like snow for a while...thats it though

i hate driving in the snow only because most people don't know how to drive in the snow

but then its redeemed when you find a open parking lots and just horse around pulling the e-brake

 

grrr it's 50 here ): It's cold for here but we got lots of snow in LA so I get to go fall on my ass again multiple times snowboarding on Saturday (or just write in the snow d: )

still haven't gotten a penis yet ): but I am good at snow angels...better than snowboarding hahaaaaa I suck so bad it's hillarious!

i think i might if I still feel wore down. Man everytime I start to feel better I go and ruin it ): I don't really like snowboarding that much...I just feel so cool in the googles...much cooler than diving masks. I'm soooooooo bad though I think i might actually hit the spa and the bar instead...

 

It really dumped on us here finally yesterday... I dont mind driving in snow as long as I dont get stuck.... although after a few cigarettes and some swearing I can usually make it out using my car mats under the wheels.

 

It was warm today - I even had the AC on when I was driving home.

I love driving in the snow, the nice thing about my car is that it has traction control, and I laugh my ass off everytime because once the car starts sliding, the lil computer comes on and says "losing control" "out of control" "lost traction"...... I never panic though, I don't really think anything of it at all unless there's other cars around me.
