The dark has never botherd me.....maybe because growing up...we used to go out at night with a blanket and lie in the field...and stare at the stars.....we lived out in the middle of nowhere...so it was really dark outside....but...it never botherd us..... I still love the dark.
I was scared of the dark when I was a kid, but I can't remember when I got over it... :spider: :shower: But to be perfectly honest, if I do watch a scary movie - and I don't mean those stupid gory ones with no story lines, I mean the ones that kinda mess with your head a little - I do have to sleep that first night with my lava light on.
I've always loved and embraced the dark. During a trip to Mammoth Cave in Kentucky, there's a point during the tour through the cave (about a mile down) when they turn the lights out. It's a darkness deeper that dark, and It was pure heaven Hotwater
I'm kinda closterphobic so I think I'm more afraid of the feeling of beeing trapped in because of the total darkness then the fact that it's dark. Pit black is what feaks me out not so much that it's dark... I can handle that. I prefer being outside and stuff at night time then I do durning daytime.... I have no idea what that's all about.
