I am a 14 year old male and this stuff is probobly going to sound crazy, but I have a few questions and i would like help with if you can, 1.Recently i have been told i am an indigo child. I know what indigo children are, but i dont know what that means for me. 2.Just recently, i have been able to pick up on peoples emotions though i cant really controll it completely, i would like to know what this is called. Also i would like to know how i can controll when it happens and if i can make it stronger. 3.I am the most lost on this one. Sometimes if i clear my mind and look straight ahead, i start walking without trying, and i usually end up either finding something i had lost, or something along the lines of that. Most of the time with this though, i end up going to the same exact place. I live in kentucky, and there is a cave below my house. I dont really go to the cave but i end up going half way along the trail leading to it, and get scared because of the cyotes that live around my house. I want a name for this, and what i can use it for, and how to controll when it happens. 4. THis happens very strongly in the fall, I can tell when somethings alive or not. It sounds crazy, but its like i can feel the life. I dont know. 5. The last question is, i can tell when people are lying to me. What is this called? Thank you for your time and answers, you dont know how much this will help me.
I think that everything you just described is all part of being an "indigo child". Your "instincts" are extremely enhanced - you KNOW what's going on around you, even if you don't know what it means or how you know these things. picking up on peoples' emotions, knowing when someone is lying, finding things you've lost without even thinking about it... that's all a part of it. You're very aware of your surroundings. Sometimes, possibly so aware of what's going on in the world that it hurts to think about those things. Give it a few more years and never forget that you have this gift, and you'll figure out on your own just how it works, how to control it, etc.
Congratulations! It sounds like you have some wonderful gifts. Sounds like you need to find a teacher to help you get control over your powers. If I were you I would look for someone who can ground you solidly so your powers can grow strong and healthy. What you don't want is to grow too fast and in an unbalanced way. This kind of growth can send you spinning off in odd directions, ie you go crazy. Since you live in Kentucky you might see if you can find a native american medicine man or elder native or not to mentor you. You might also check around for a Lakota sweat lodge. If you can find a good one the Lakota ceremonies are very grounding. They can help you find your center if you get lost. You could also do well with either the taoist internal martial arts, chi gung etc. If this interests you, you might check out Mantak Chia's books or the works of Dr. Yang Jwing Ming. Another place you might check is to locate the nearest Bujinkan dojo. These are the Iga ryu ninja. They may not have your answers but they are generally interesting people and could probably send you in some good directions. Stay away from the Koga ryu ninja. They are good at many things but not for the stuff you are working with. You might also check out Wilderness Awareness School's Kamana naturalist program. It is a lot of work but it is really magic. If you have to go it alone this is a really good program. It is an independent study nature course but if you can't find a teacher it will likely take you a long way towards where you want to go. Good luck and keep us up to date.
"indigo" only refers to the color of your aura, nothing more than that, really. The rest just means you are in tune with your inner guiding instincts. Don't lose touch, because it will serve you well throughout your life. I wouldn't worry about controlling it or making it stronger, just believe in yourself and trust your heart always. Why do you want names and labels for everything? There are just things in this world that defy human language to describe, and that's okay. I would suggest you steer clear of anyone who wants money to help you develop your "skills" - all you gotta do is look inside yourself for the answers you seek.
Actually junco, my father is lakota. Also i have studied with qi gong for 2 years. This is really coincidential. I have saught teachings from an elder way before i posted this, but had no luck. I am pretty lucky though that i live right next to a forest so that i can sorta teach myself, though it would be nice to have a teacher.
