the pill

    i just started the pill about a month and a half ago and i had my period for three weeks straight, then it stopped for two, and now its back (its not spotting either), is that normal?

    i'm not a girl but i'm pretty sure it shouldn't do that if you've taken it properly. see you doctor. the presciption might be wrong

    i can imagine. i once ran into a period once. she just needed that fix. icky.lol

    That happened to me. My dr. gave me a stronger dosage and it fixed it.

    the pill takes awhile to get in sync with your body, they say that things can get weird for the first three months, but definetly talk to your doctor cuz they might want to put you on a different pill.

    oh my god I completely understand, you must be hating it!

    I was on the pill, 3 different kinds and with each one I got my period one week and off the next and then back again! I hated it so much!

    I felt crappy and depressed and I lost my sex drive and I was just hating every second of it.

    Its completely normal, but unfortuantely the only way to find the right pill for you is by trial and error :( Thus I no longer take the damn pill

    I did that once, with Ortho TriCyclen Lo. Now I'm on Seasonale, and I've had no problems. You should ask your doctor. If you're on one of the generic ones, you should probably switch to something like Ortho.
