I know what your thinking, WTF? A toilet? My original toilet was an old 3 gallon toilet, every time you flush it there goes 3 gallons of water. My sister would come over and give me this spiel about saving water, she would not flush it after use leaving a mess in the toilet saying use it twice! This practice is what she and her husband do! Gaaakkk! This really grossed me out I thought it was a disgusting practice not to mention unsanitary! I would flush it with disgust. There goes 3 gallons of water again.
My new toilet is a Kohler 1.5 gallon environment friendly toilet. I love it! Every time I use it I save water! When my sister comes over no more leaving a mess in the toilet! That's sanitary! I bought it at Home Depot for about $225 bucks. Every time I flush it there goes only 1.5 gallons of water! Which is a good thing because here in Colorado water use is such an issue!

I'm all for conserving water, but I'd wonder if a 1.5 gallon flush would be effective enough. It might be something like those dishwashers that use so little water, but have an inadequate rinse cycle.

It has a water jet to enhance the flush. Yeah that's what they say it uses less water but doesn't do as good a job as the 3 gallon toilet.

Hopefully it does a decent job. You don't want to be scrubbing toilets daily!!
