People, if you don't know about this, it's high time you did. (pun intended) There is a place you can go, where you choose your music, and it will play back similar music. You get to choose if you like it and hear more like it, or not, and never hear it again. The result is a personalized station that just keeps growing the more you listen. What is this place, you ask? It's at www.pandora.com . Play around with it, you'll probably like it, at the very least.

It's become a part of my sesh. The only real downside is for example: You want music "just" from the 80s. You can't set a timeframe, but you will usually get some of the music from the timeframe. I still love the hell out of it, and they keep updating it. I have like 15 stations, from hip-hop to electronic music, though I listen only to handful at a time.

Once you got your stations going, try the Quickmix button.

I've been using it for a little while now, and I've yet to come across many bands that I like that I hadn't previously heard of.
