OT: what vices do you have ?

ok, ok .. get your mind out of the gutter.
what I'm refering to isn't related to sex or imbibements although both are FUN

what I'm asking is, what do you indulge in ?

Mine would have to be electronic gadgets. I have this LED light thing that is curvey and displays different colors (I can stare at this and zone out LOL), a little thing with airplanes on it that spins when the sun shines on the solar panel. I have two water thingies, one drips water down slate on to rocks, the other flows water over two tiers of rocks, can't forget the electronic Sudoku- gotta take it with me (so addictive). I indulge myself in 3D graphics on the computer, more of a hobby than vice, but I do spend time getting lost in it so I'd characterize it as a vice.

 

I have my own gadget. Plenty of fun.

 

Books...I have gone way overboard with books and am running out of places to keep all of them !!!

 

Cheap wine and television. They don't eat up much money, but they allow me to squander pretty much all of my free time.

i have a problem, seriously

 

cigarettes. waste of money much? that and marijuana.

 

I have over one 1000 cds in my lounge alone. Guess we are both cd addicts


I also have a love affair with a girl called Gadget She says she used to pilot an inflatable sausage balloon thing

i definately would though if i had the money

and i forgot ciggarettes im so addicted to them i didnt even think to mention them

 

My other vices are fictional characters.

My 'vices'?
Glass beads. I make beaded flowers. (sorry I don't have my stuff on line it's better than those examples) I buy beads and then more beads that I may never use.
Old photographs, I collect stereo views (I don't buy there -too expensive) and tintypes. I'm crazy, because I buy and then balance my check book afterward -my landlord hates me because he gets paid last.
Like you guys, I have alot of books and CDs and MP3s. I'm kind of ADD, so I have to have several vices that I can flip around to keep my life a constantly off kilter.

Cheep wine and bad TV, I didn't realize that was a vice, er, I didn't want to admit it but now I will. Oh, oh, my glass is empty and "Prison Break" is about to begin. You know, I could spend an hour watching Wentworth Miller playing cards and be sated.

Oh, I am a very very indulgent person...

French fries
Ice cream sandwiches
Queer as Folk
Alcohol/marijuana...etc

And whenever I'm at Borders or something, I always go a little overboard with books or cds...I can never walk out empty handed no matter what.

 

Mine is picking locks, computer, fencing/Martial arts, and well guys lol.

 

Music. Probably my piano and guitar. Also surfing and skating and drawing..and hanging out with my friends

 

Alcohol and too damn many dogs

 

clothes, alcohol, cigarettes, coffee, music, etc.

 

the internet, which is ridiculous, although i don't mind going without it for long periods of time.

clove cigarettes, definitely, even though the price is being raised 80 cents/pack here and i have to hide the fact that i smoke from my entire family.

other than that... thrift stores. i have had to physically stop myself from going to savers once or twice a week.

also, food!! i love food too much

other things like photography i love, but don't consider them a vice as they are not an impediment to my life the way some people think the other things are
