So i have an earing and im seriously looking into stretching out the piercing to some kind of spacer but i really have no idea how it works... like, can the hole ever close up? at what point does it become permanent? how do they go about stretchin out your ear? if anybody has spaced out earlobes id greatly appreciate some advice and a little education :&!! EDIT: hmm sorry, i just noticed that other thread on the same topic. whatevr though, some basic facts and advice would still be nice. thnx.
I had mine stretched to a 2 gauge a few years ago. I had them in for a few months and one night while I was sleeping the plugs fell out and the holes shrunk back to normal size. I decided not to go through the pain of re-stretching them. It was quite painful the first time. Then again, I went from a 16 to an 8, then to a 4, and then a 2. It bled alot. I had blood running down my arms like crazy when I stretched them. Oh, they also smell. Stick your finger in your belly button and smell it. That's almost exactly what they smell like. You get used to it though, you may even learn to like it. Off Topic: I love your sig. Brand New fucking rocks.
Stretching should never hurt. It might tingle a little, but there should never be outright pain or blood. *always go up one size at a time *don't stretch until your current jewelry feels loose (I like to wait about a month between stretches) *measure your jewelry before you insert it. Make sure it is the size you need! I recently tore both lobes by inserting some kaos eyelets that were mis-labeled I went from 9/16ths to 2 gauge. It's depressing and it hurts like a bitch! *Massage your lobes. It makes them happy. *clean your holes while you are in the shower. That will keep the ear-cheese to a minimum.
ok iv stretched from a regular ear piercing to a 3mm so far. i just bought an expander from the local piercing place (kinda like a cone shaped piece of plastic) covered it in vaseline got in the bath and shoved it through it doesnt hurt at all but yeah go slow and have fun thing is as soon as u stretch on size you wanna stretch again straight away lol i love my ear cheese
www.bodypunks.com try there for some tapers...and yes the hole can eventually close up if not stretched beyong a 00 gauge...and it is a slow process but it will be worth it in the end trust me
