Me and my friend found a really cool smoking spot and smoked there. Both our parents were home so we figured hey lets leave the weed and pipe here (No one would ever go where the spot is). so we left the weed and pipe in a plastic grocery bag because thats all we had on us. Well we didn't expect it to snow, but it did the next day. so what im wondering is if weed in a grocery bag will survive the harsh conditions or if the cold will fuck it up.

So long as the bag is sealed up good, and no moisture gets in you should be fine. I'd worry more about it getting moist/moldy in there. Why can't you just go get it, why wait a week?

if its sealed up then it wont get wet. if its not sealed up it may well get wet and worse, since its outside, mouldy. the cold is good though, if its just sealed up in a few bags, airtight, that is, then the cold is better than warm

arg I was high and made a bad decision, im going to go tomorrow to get it, we you think that it will be moldy after 3 days of being out there?

edit: I don't think that it would get wet, it was wrapped up pretty good in the bag, and it was hole free. does it have to be airtight?

I'm sure it'll be fine if it was wrapped up as well as you said.

yes, airtight, in such conditions. like, a little ziplock? or a normal bag with an elastic around it or a bag with no holes tied up, these will make it airtight. if it is airtight, it is better off in the snow than most other places that are a)warmer and b) get you caught

ok i'm pretty sure its water tight so im not worried, I was going to move it but saw some college kids hanging out on their porch which I have to walk by to get there and I didn't want them to see me heading over there and wonder what I was doing.
