Abortion

I think women should be allowed to have abortions, but they should be required to eat the fetus after it is aborted. And for the people that think abortions are necessary because it is impossible to not have sex, they should have to live in Iran for one year and Zambia for another year.

Why shouldn't the male that impregnated also dine on the same meal?

lets see here...what really makes somthing alive? I would think it would be being conscious and sentient. So whenever the fetus deveopes that, it's alive and it should not be killed. Othewise it's just a bunch of cells. Have scientists found when exactly the fetus becomes sentient and conscious?

 

You don't think the male should be allowed to keep the child if the woman wants to abort, so why should the male have to eat the fetus?

 

There is an origin to everything, everything has an origin except God. Okay, now, that means that our planet has an origin, our lands and oceans have an origin, and all living things have an origin, we humans like everything else have an origin, and our origin is when the sperm joins the egg, if you look at it that way, abortion can't possibly be okay, although I have stated it should be okay before the heartbeat is born because I think there are some instances which can be accepted and of course since so many people want abortion to be legal then have it legal before 5 weeks or so, teh heartbeat usually forms between 5 and 6 weeks.

Now if you want to be a wiseass and think that an embryo is just a cluster of cells which you once were yourself as every single human being here, then go ahead and think that, it just goes to show the average minded simpleton.

 

Using the term "cluster of cells" is a term used by the pro-choicers to take the "murder of a defensless human being" aspect away from the act of abortion.

That's a pretty arbitrary point. Does having a heartbeat make a fetus more human or something? Why not when it's brain starts recieving sensory input? Maybe that's just harder to see.

So in essense, "I'm right, and you're wrong, so there." Good job.

That's not true at all, and you know it. Pro-choicers do not see a fetus as having the same "rights" as someone outside the womb. Because, in the beginning, it is just a cluster of cells. It takes a while for it to even look human, even longer to have any conciousness, and the whole time, it has all the features of a parasite in the mother's body.

Abortion is not a careless act of hate. In most cases, it is an agonized over choice. Sometimes it is an act of desperation. Other times women are guilted or pushed into it during the most frightening and emotional time of their lives. Sometimes it's done out of terror, or because of health reasons. To say most or even lots of abortions are careless acts done without thoughts is demonstrating true ignorance about a painful experience you can only understand if you've had to live through it, like I have.

To say the least the poll is restricted to a limited and somewhat misinformed set of choices that are all biased to the right wing and at least one has an ambiguity that is too obvious to be taken seriously

 

Sorry the link doesn't work, I'm gonna have to recheck it later, I don't think the poll is biased at all, saying it's immoral is right wing, saying it's careless is not at all right wing that's a choice of opinion and saying there's a better way is also a choice, I can't see how the poll could be biased.
