It's a really good schizo/horror movie. It's got everything: Lesbian sexual tension Nudity Severed head blow jobs Decapitation Multiple Identities Axings Barb wire bat beatings Sawblade slashings Good ol' stabbings Shootins' Bloody make-outs Crowbar impalements Insanity Obsession IT'S GOOD. RENT IT. WATCH IT.
Yea, it was pretty cool. I wasn't too satisfied with the ending, but it wasn't enough to ruin the rest of the movie. And besides, like you already stated, it's got a severed head oral sex scene -- that's huge points. Mmhmmm, cool flick.
At first I thought it was gonna suck then the blood and guts start rippen out and I got lured into it. It freaked me out.
Great movie, uneccesary twist but it didn't take away from the movie. This is what the horror genre should be not the pg-13 teeny bopper crap coming out.
amen. alexander aja, for his sophmore effort is doing a remake of the hills have eyes, and im really excited for it, i mean this is a remake that will be good and i know it! a good horror remake hasnt been done since the thing.
I saw this film last night (although it was under a different name "Switchblade Romance"). It was very entertaining, yes indeedy.
I bought this movie for five dollars at this local gas station, had no clue what it was but the cover was neat. I loved the movie, in fact I think I'm going to watch it again tomorrow when I'm not in class.
It's an entertaining movie, but did any of you find that most of it didn't fit together. There were many contradictions/holes in the plot.
Oh, it was a stupid film in many ways, certainly! But not to its detriment i don't think. How many horror movies do you know which aren't a bit stupid? I couldn't name any i don't think. No, i think they gloss over such things as "How could she be driving the car and the van at the same time??" and "Why exactly is she doing this?" and just let the over-the-top gore and great pace of the movie take over. Pure thrill-ride.
I don't think they really knew how to end this movie, so they threw in that twist ending at the last moment
I LOVE this film. I kept my eye on it for about a year, waiting and waiting for an American theatrical release, and I was so happy when it finally came out. Good job bumping the thread. The cinematography was gorgeous, the soundtrack was solid, the gore was fucking beautiful. I do dislike the twist a bit, but that doesn't take away from the fact that it's one of my favorite horror films ever. I don't even particularly like slashers in general, but this film was fantastic in nearly every way. The head coming off was like, WHOA, :applause: And it introduced me to one of my favorite songs, New Born.
