Can nutmeg be extracted to be put into pills in any way? Or would this just kill someones liver instantly. I know doing nutmeg is a bad idea. In fact i dont plan to do it. I cant make any guarantees. If im baked and find it in someones drawer, i may not be able to stop myself...

You can just grind it up and put it into caps. I don't know about extracts though. Probably be more trouble than it's worth to prepare it, as the buzz isn't all that great and the hangover isn't worth even the best buzz. Shit man, that hangover shit is shitty as shit.

I'm pretty sure that mace is nutmeg extract (could be wrong though, i know they both come from the same tree), wouldn't want to eat it though.

I believe mace is the fruit around the nut. not sure though. They sell it by nutmeg at health food stores. 1/4 tsp of mace is 1 tsp of nutmeg. Does that mean if you eat mace you eat one fourth the amount of nutmeg to get the same effect? Does it have mystricine and all that jazz?

Im still interested, can the chemicals in nutmeg be dissolved in alchohol and water? Or does it only work in milk? Info would be appreciated.

I used alchoholic extraction on mace, which is supposed to have more essential oils than nutmeg itself. I am drying it now and it will be tested on friday by one of my friends. It took 25 grams mac powder for maybe 5 capsules which may or may not work. I put maybe a dollar into this project so even if it does take up some time. If it works it will be fairly interesting. Then again maybe the essential oils arent all that goes into the effects. Ill find out friday and post back.

I gave my friend two capsules before he went to semi. he took them both. the next time i saw him was around 5 hours later, his eyes were bloodshot and he was acting pretty strange. People said he was acting very out of it during the dance. By around 12 he was fighting hard to stay awake and would zone in and out. I plan to try for my self this friday to see if my friend was just being an asshole, or if he was really high. It will be interesting. Im assuming that he is just very easilly effected by the placebo effect. Though the first time he took nutmeg, 2 tbsp, he was very dizzy acted strange and crashed at 1am-ish. (This was over the summer) Ill post back with my results.

Nutmeg is nasty. I ate three nuts, and then fell asleep. The next day I could barely move, talk, or keep my eyes open. It was fun at first, but then it sucked as it dragged on. I guess it's worth trying at least once though.
