i just got all the stuff including spores to grow except the pressure cooker because a large good one costs alot of money, does anyone know if maybe a large pot or a crock pot would work???or not worth the risk??

look in the classifieds for one and do try to take short cuts..you will waist your time, money and might blow a hole in your mother's kitchen.

I picked up a small one for $40, its tiny but its all you need to grow your own. I like your pic, harvesting before the veil breaks, excellent.

a crock pot is not the same thing. those are designed for low temperatures over long periods of time. what you need are very high temperatures over short periods of time. the easiest way to achieve this in the kitchen setting is with water vapor and 15 psi. you need a PC.
