A few days ago i was talking to a girl over aim, and she mentioned how she wished she had enough money to get a pain of Seven (the brand) jeans (i think somewhat jokingly). We did get into a discussion over normal jeans vs more expensive designer jeans. That got me thinking, so i just went to this Seven site, and i can't believe the price. Linkage Am i missing something here? Are these like super jeans? She said something along the lines of "you should get a pair of designer jeans b/c you'll feel better about yourself/more confident." I mean sure, i feel more confident in some outfits more than others, but not to the point where i would spend more than $100 on something i could buy just as easily for $20. Besides that, what also suprised me was this. Note the ages.
yeah...I like my 7 for all man kinds and I asked for another pair for christmas...their inseam is hella long so their not too short on my and they make my ass look bigger. They are magic jeans...but they fit small so you gotta go up 2 sizes and that makes me feel like a cow. I've had one pair for 3 years, I got them taken in when they didn't fit me anymore...that's the other thing they can be easily altered. I just think if I'm going to have the same jeans for years I am saving money rather than buying new cheaper ones every few months...plus I am a fashion whore and in mad department store card debt-but you're only young once!
i have a hard time finding jeans that fit, be it designer or not. as long as they fit well, i really could care less where or how much they cost
I guess I'm just cheap. I refuse to pay over $30 for a pair of jeans. I have a hard time finding jeans too. My legs are too long for regular jeans, and too short for long jeans. *shrugs* Oh and I wear my jeans long after they rip, ravel, and fade. They're best that way - at least they are to me.
Well, I usually buy designer jeans or try to because they almost always fit me better. I have super mutantly long legs and a pair of cheap jeans are always always always too short for me and too big in the waist. They never come close to fitting me no matter what size I get. But most designer jeans do fit me. I mostly just wear skirts though, it's much easier.
that's nauseatingly expensive. I refuse to pay more than 40 (Canadian) for a pair of jeans and even that's rare. My second favourite pair of jeans ever I got for $11, new. Boofuckinyeah
I do buy jeans from Target though. They are the only cheap jeans that I have been able to find that come close to resembling a fit. Also, Target is the only store in this entire county that has cheap clothes of any kind.
if you are near a large metro area, try flea markets, retro stores, thrift stores, goodwill, salvation army etc. you would not believe the good shit people toss out. i am tall and skinny so i have a difficult finding jeans that fit. however, i hit all of the above and i usually find a pair of jeans that are well broken in and i never spend more than $6-$7.
I love those too...god I wanna go shopping... does anyone have a nordstoms rack near their house? At the one down here they have 7;s, citizens and joes for under 100 bucks. Loehmanns has cheap designer jeans too-that's where I always get mine. And I love target! Their clothes are freaking adorable these days!!!
wow. i like my $7 thrift store jeans thankyouverymuch. & also here we have this place called crossroads where rich people sell them their old designer shit & they have a store where they sell the designer type stuff for hella cheap. i never been there but if i really had the desire to wear expensive clothes i would just go to crossroads.
i always buy new jeans, and not ones from second hand stores because half worn out jeans for me just isn't economical since I wear mine out so fast. but I do always buy cheap ones
^ i wear mine out twice as fast because they are often secondhand or given to me by someone else it isnt often that i get new things
Yeah, you lucky people with stores where you live. We have second hand stores, but they are all vintage and they are all really expensive because the clothes are really nice and they only really have stuff from the 60s or 70s.
i have a couple pair that I still wear with holes in the crotch. I'm sure people love seeing what boxers I'm wearing, and I'm sure they are especially appreciative of the days I wear none at all.
^ i have some jeans with holes in them too. due to my lack of clothes i cant throw them away, so i wear boxer breifs underneath. usually i am commando. any type of undergarment just irks me. but who gives a fuck if people see your boxers?? no shame no game. some people deliberatley rip holes in their jeans, so it must be cool right?? hahaa
