i finished the whole body part; basically right now it's a no-sleeve dress. but i used fleece and kinda wanted to make it a sweatshirt dress. however, i've never used sleeves on anything i've made. so now i'm wondering if i should've attached the sleeves first and sewed up the whole side together, or if i can attach the sleeve part after the sides have already been sewed.

basically - what is the easiest way to attach sleeves? how would you go about attaching sleeves to a no-sleeve dress? i always make things hard for myself! thanks for the replies.

Hey, don't know if you finished it or not but what I always do is add the sleeves then sew the sleeves together along with the sides, especially with fleece makes it a lot easier for me.

like add the sleeves on the top, then sew from the undersleeve part down the side to the bottom of the dress? oh, you add the sleeves open, then sew em together.

that's the easiest way I know of, especially when you are working with a bulky fabric like fleece.
