Hey everyone! I just found this site, so i figured id get something going on Yoga!. I'm 17 from New York and ive been practicing for two years. Whenever i go to a class I never seem to meet anyone younger than 20 or so. so why not let us know what your favorite syle is and why you do it! because we all know how incredible yoga can be!
Breathe. It supposed to be the true connection between soul and body. So yoga focuses or breatheing. It's ok, its kinda boring sometimes though.
bullshit. a one hour yoga class is a hell of a lot harder for me than going on a four mile run. Hocky's hot though.
try a bikhrams yoga class... power yoga in a 100 degree room is not boring int he least...it makes me wanna cry actually and I'm a bit self-sadistic so I kinda like it...it's like the rough sex of yoga
Hockey has made me hate California. I caught a Sharks/Habs game a couple years ago in San Jose and none of the fans knew how to play hockey, they were all wearing suits, and none of them were into it. These expansion teams in the South are fucking ruining the NHL by diluting the talent pool too much. But you have almost all the big markets so you keep building hockey rinks in places where there is never any natural ice... Ahh this is a bit of pet peeve of mine tho.
wait do you live in California? thought you were from Canada. If you do not live in California you just hate it because you want to move here and can't-no shame in that man. Cali is gorgeous. I'm in San Diego. Dude I know nothing about hockey but that guys look fucking hot playing it.
I do live in Canada. I've been to California a couple times... and can't really stand it, to be honest. The people are weird, the weather is too hot, everything costs way too much money, the weed sucks but people can't stop talking about how great it is. I smoked a joint with a guy outside a house party and told him his weed sucked - and his defense was "No way - we're thirty minutes from the beach". Who says shit like that?
People in cali do. Come on admit it...you love it...it's 70 today here. And teh people are weird...that's part of the charm. Our weed does suck compared to most canadian weed though-I'll give you that. We have good coke though, not that I would know or anything...
I can't stand it, actually... It makes me really lazy. I'm going back to my hometown for the winter break. It peaked at minus 38 celsius w/ windchill. And I love it. An old dealer I used to have said he used to trade BC bud straight across pound for pound for blow. I'm just not much of a city person, dunno. I'm considering moving to Ottawa for grad school tho.
that is really freaking cold. Doesn't it hurt? The one time I was in sub 0 c weather my skin actually borke open. Yeah your guy's stuff is pretty coveted down here, it's hard to get as far south as san diego...we get all the crap from mexico. What are you going to grad school for? I start in Feb for my Masters in Family Therapy.
Constitutional Law. I get a joint BA in Econ/Poli Sci come May. I'll probably take a year off, do some backpacking/ESL teaching in Asia, and spend whatever money I have left living in Lyon, France, where I know a bunch of people. And naww... The cold is nice. I find it pretty comfortable, and Winter sports are by far my favourite. Hockey, skiing, snowmobiling.
I can't ski or play hockey but I love snow mobeling and snowboarding (or as other people like to call it me falling on my ass all day). Cool I thought about teaching in South Korea but am a commitment phobe and the baby of my family so I soubt I will ever do it. I love France i've never been to Lyon though...is that the town that is just south of provence?
