Hey everyone! I don't know how many horse people there are in this group, but if you are like me, and are dealing with hoof problems that come with the wet season, I have a really great hoof oil that works wonderfully for the following:

    Dry, brittle, cracked feet
    Thrush
    White Line Disease
    Abcesses
    Contracted Heals
    Recovery From Laminitis
Circulation to the Lower Limb Problems

After hearing the farrier at one barn suggest using straight bleach to kill thrush and other harsh chemicals to treat sore feet, I decided to use my herbal knowledge to come up with an alternative. I have been nursing my aged gelding back from founder that came with countless abcesses, hoof wall separation, white line and now thrush with the muddy ground. I made this for him, to clear up the infections, promote new healthy growth, treat the thrush and get good circulation to heal the damage from the laminits.

The oil is 100% natural in a base of aloe, sweet almond, neem and emu oils. It contains 12 extracts, organically grown herbs, essential oils and Bach Flower Rescue Remedy.

So far, in a month of daily use, it has cleared up the thrush and prevented it from coming back, gotten rid of the white line, brought a nice healthy color back to the hooves, and the best part is this old arthritic ex-racehorse is leaping and bounding around his pasture perfectlly sound...which is a complete improvement from his limpy, ouchy state back in the beginning of the fall.

I am SOOO excited about this! I am very passionate about my animals and love when I find something that is all natural and WORKS! If other horse owners would like to try the oil, I am expecting to have my next shipment of extracts in at the end of this week and would love to mix some up for you - free! I would just ask that you pay for the shipping and if you like it and would want more, to contribute to the fund (herbs and extracts are not cheap when you can't get them fresh in NJ this time of year) THANKS!

Dunno if it's just me but I've found that bacon grease and pine tar does wonders for horses feet...

I would love to try this on my pony, who is named "Dandy Pratt Ivory", since she has been developing a slight case of thrush that I have been treating with the standard "coppertox" medication. Even so, I agree with you completely on holistic remedies though, since I worry about the toxicity and potential adverse side-affects of most of the products at the feed store or the ones my veterinarian prescribes...

If you could PM me where to send the check I would be so very grateful and thank you in advance too!
