when crafts go wrong

I collect vintage craft books and I actually have the one most of those came out of

 

yimminy.

 

the six armed snowman cracked me up! id be severly creeped out if i saw that thing in my yard!

 

some of those knit things are terrifyingly scary - seriously, I'll be having nightmares... although if they were published in a knitting pattern book titled "101 things NOT to knit, but here's the pattern anyway" I'd totally buy it.

when i told my friend i was crocheting a bag she goes, "don't you dare! no one ever buys that crap! it's just for old ladies!"
i can imagine myself bedbound with all my crocheted things around me...
no cats, however...
