    GAH!
One day I think that I am fluent in German, and that I can hold a perfect conversation and all. And I feel all confident.

And then the next day, in school, I have to read something for German class (the equivalent of English class in the US or UK, in case youre that dumb, hehe) and I stumble across 50 billion words that I dont know.

DO YOU KNOW HOW FRUSTRATING THAT IS??????????????????
Its not so bad at the beginning, but now after three months of being here, its getting tiring of flipping thru the fucking German-English dictionary....

    GAH!!!

And then worse, once I was finished reading it, and understanding it, the teacher asked me to say what I thought about the article and summarize it, which I KNOW I CAN DO!!!!! But I just started speaking shit German and making mistakes and being at a loss for words. GGGGGGgrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

well, (in my attempt to be optimisitic), as a native english speaker, dont you sometimes have words in english you have to look up? and sometimes dont you stumble over reading? so its normal.

just trying to be positive :)

Guten Morgen. Heute ist es ein netter Tag. Gut für das Schwimmen aber zuerst muss ich die Kühe füttern.

This is as far as I ever got to learning German. It's HARD!! So be proud that you've come as far as you have. :)

ja, ich glaube, dass ich (fast) fließend auf Deutsch bin, aber es ist ganz frustriert, wenn ich ein Tag denke: "Okei, ich bin fließend!" dann kommt der nächste Tag, und es gibt ein Text, die ich lesen muss, und es gibt 5459430634 neue Wörte....gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!
    versteht jemand????????
    na ja....................
auf jedenfall, ich muss für Schule vorbereiten.
    tschüs, and danke,
