I've always hated my body. Always. I've always been alittle on the chunky side. I started to binge and purge. I hate it. But I can't stop. Whatever I take in, has to get out. And I will. I just feel so nasty when I eat. It's just...eh. Gross. I want to quit doing it but it's become this monster. I just...sigh.
Well, the first step is admitting, as always, and you just did that. It's time you told someone close to you, like your parents, if you haven't, and get help. It may seem like a monster now, but if you don't get help it can only get worse. Sorry to give the usual lecture, etc, but this is a serious, serious problem.
Turn off your TV, Throw away all your magazines, stop listening to what other people say regarding your body, and live your life as YOU see fit. Society puts so much emphasis on women having a near-skeletal frame; it's disgusting. Imperfections are what make us human. A perfect body is impossible to obtain, although the media seems to ignore that fact and assaults you with pictures of photoshopped models all the time. If you REALLY want to try and loose weight, just eat a lot of good organic grains, salads, vegetables, and fruits. Sugary junk food is also incredibly bad for your health and will cause you to gain weight at an accelerated rate. Other than that, just get out and exercise! But binging is really bad. The stomach acid can dissolve your esophagus over time if you do it continually. Not a very pleasant thing to have happen to you...
There are alternative methods of losing weight such as exercising. Why don't you try-out for a sport? If it doesn't work because you feel self-conscious about your athletic ability, you can always participate in a solitary sport like jogging. Hotwater
I used to be the same way and i just got over a diet pill crutch........ so its kinda hard for people who havent been there to know exactly how hard it is..... but you have to come to terms with reality... theres a reason your body is the way it is... stop using unnatural means to try to control it do something more natural like everyone recommended above sports and stuff... I realised that taking a walk with my camera helped me wonders because it was just about helping my body but it was like ohhh I can take pictures... and stuff like that.... then after awhile it became like going for walks with the dog etc etc... and friends and eventually it just becomes a part of who you are.... another thing when your out and about instead of grabbing a soda grab water or there are some kickass juices tooo that are WAY yummier than soda.. Im to the point where if I drink too much soda it makes me sick to my stomach its like a soda every few days if that...limit yourself to the amount of sweets... and you'll begin to notice fruit is WAY better than fake sweet shit....... its pretty cool..... just try to stick with it... ask yourself this do you like fake people? fake= unnatural..... so just be the real you and do it the natural way
Hun, you are a skinny girl, but if you get too skinny i will start calling you Nicole Richey, i mean it
getting out and exercising isn't a very friendly thought this time of year. and winter likes to fuck with your mind and make you all weirded out and depressed. hopefully all will work out well for you, crankypoo. i'm not sure if getting your belly button pierced was such a good idea. it'll either make you want to show it off and make you want to loose weight, or maybe it will allow you to see your beautiful body for how it is and not feel the need to change it. if that made any sense, i hope it helps.
