phd not phud higher education levels essentially, you have to research something/create a new concept or theory or something along those lines in teh area of your subject, ie if I were to do a doctoral thesis on physical anthropology I'd likely be doing research on bones, bone morphology, how bones are affected by beign buried in different kinds of sediment (dirt), etc. but that's not what I'm majoring in and I'm not sure I'll ever go for a phd. I'm gonna go for a second undergrad (bachelors's degree) before I worry about grad stuff, let alone phd's. Assuming I get this degree I'm working at now, ugh.
