ADS stands for Alcohal and Drug Services. its a county run thing for teens who get busted. there are 3 levels of it, Outpatiant- classes 2 times a week for 6 months, day treatment-everyday, and Residential-you live there. i am now going to outpatiant in january till begining of july. as some of you know i got busted doing xanax at school last year. took too much, passed out in school. all that fun stuff. got expelled and my mom was very upset. got sent to my dads all summer and shit happened. my dad and i are no longer on speaking terms and shit. got back in september and everything was going great. new school, and only being tested every now and then. they were slowing down so i was excited to smoke soon. in october the school board made me go to a mandatory 3 day course on the dangers of drugs. it was actually pretty fun and a very nice looking girl sat next too me. they said specifically that "everything you say here is 100% confidential, we can not tell ADS or your parents by LAW" so, i STUPIDLY trusted them and decided to let it all out. tol them about my experimentation with DXM, oxy, lsa, shrooms, etc. after about a month, ADS called me in for a final assesment. i was so excited about getting high soon, but my dreams were about to be slashed down. the guy pulls out a paper and starts reading direct quotes from my 3 day session. the lying bitches had told ADS everything. so they sentenced me to outpatiant. this is extremely expensive. and the worst part was that he made me tell my mom everthing right now, or he tells her. i got out that i had tried shrooms and she starting crying rivers. it made me feel so bad that i wanted to fucking slit the ADS guys throat. so now i am stuck in 6 more months of weed freeness. it will have been 1 year and 2 monthes since i last smoked when im out. the lesson i learned is that you never EVER trust what some ass hole county employee says about confidentiality.
man, thats terrible. you should do something about that because that is just unjust. i mean they cant say that there not gonna tell anyone by law and then tell your parents and ADS
I would contact the ACLU and try to start a lawsuit suing the school board for violating your right to privacy! They said it was confidential, How did ADS obtain this information? From the school board's 3 day mandatory class. Find out what your rights are. Maybe you can get this outpatient thing reduced or removed. In the future, be more discreet before you " let it all out" especially when it involves drugs, you never know whats' gonna happen once the cat's out of the bag. Bustramp
Say you were pressured into talking, so you made things up. if they don't have any real proof of drug abuse you should be in the clear. if they say shit, say you want a child advocate and threaten a lawsuit. be polite.
too much trouble to go through sueing. plus id have to do it on my own since my mom is glad they lied to me. and i dont have that kind of money
