Annoying words people use....

The one I hate is when people say... "Basically This..."
"basically That.."

 

What is wrong with 'this' and 'that'?

its not really words people use, more or less the way they say them..
or if i cant stand the person, everything they say gets on my nerves..

 

I am with you on that one...a chap at work drives me insane . He has never actualy spoken with him but he sits near me...everything he says is bullshit. He would be enough to drive me to something i would regret ...enjoy but regret. The feeling maybe mutual.

 

my old councelor was always liek writing down everything id say , then she would be like, "ok... ok... alright... hmm... okay.. okay."it was soooo annoying!and shewould always be like, "how do you feel about that? "every five minutes

 

When you hear a Yank saying "hey you guys" lol actually no that's more funny than annoying.

 

i do not like it when people use double negatives.....and the phrase "my bad" really annoys me.....

 

do they say it sounding like Sloth from Goonies...

ughhhh i hated that! they ask you how you feel even after you just said it.

 

i can pretty much sound like Sloth when saying "hey you guys"

 

No just in the typical American way. You hear all the American tourists around Dublin saying it.....as if they don't stand out enough with there extremely strange sense (does every American over 50 dress like they are going to play golf???)

 

Actually, since I've started visiting this site, I have come to hate the word "hippie" or "hippy." I also hate the word "n00b." That's pretty damn lame.

 

Heh, perhaps. My dad is 55 (I think), and he usually wears a golf shirt.

hmmm words that people use, lets see i hate the word groovy, i think that also goes with the way someone sounds when saying it...
i mean lets face it, no one can sound as cool as Ash when he says it,
but like when someone says, Groovy man, and such...but i dont know, i bet i say some annoying shit sometimes

 

one of the most annoying words i hear is "irregardless". it's not even a real word, but i hear it all the time.
