dude i would be scared to smoke that. if i bought that id prolly keep it in a safe behind bulletproof glass
It is beautiful, but I actually prefer these: http://www.glasspipes.org/Gal12866_Octopus_Stemless_Sherlock.asp http://www.glasspipes.org/Gal18730_Chimonobambusa.asp There are far too many on that site to pick any of my favorites, though. But those are some I like and the type I would go for. I love the site, BTW. I remember looking at it for hours on end while I was in class at Job Corps.
Let me see if I got this right..... the artist does not sell them??? I'd pay a pretty penny for some of his work
they're prolly in small exhibits and such... but I'm sure theyre sold to rich people for a realll high price... once I did a report on teapots for ceramics, and those things (which compair in craftsmanship with these bongs) go for thousands and thousands of dollars. theyre supposidly "not for sale", but eventually theyre bought by someone, im sure.
yeah... artists are all like "I never sell my work maaaah" but throw a good amount of money in front of them and theyll gove you there left nuts.
glasspipes.org is a website for glass artists to post their art, kind of like devientArt is for 2D stuff. because the site is basically an online gallery, THEY CANNOT legally sell you anything. so yea, it's not that those artists don't sell, so much as they just can't sell over that site. but usually if you contact the artist directly, they may do business with you (if you can prove you're of suitable age) or direct you to a store or vendor that they sell their work to.
That's pretty cool, but doesn't it look a bit sadistic? I prefer more colorful bongs, akin to this one: http://www.glasspipes.org/Img82338_bubbler_Img82338_3.29.06-044.j.asp
