I was thinking about this today. How does a Volcano work? I smoked out of one before, but was really messed up and didn't pay as much attention to it as I would have liked. Is it a heating element and a bag to catch the THC? How hot does it get to realease the THC? Whats all involved in making it work? Thanks.
Umm, well, I'm no expert on all types of vapes, but basically vapes like the volcano work by using hot air. Hot air is circulated over your weed, causing the THC alone to be released, without so many of the random carcinegens you usually get from smoking. It also increases the efficiency. lighters are around 900 degrees. but you only need a bit over 200 to turn THC crystals into vapor. this temperature, unlike that of a flame, is NOT enough to combust the plant material, thus eliminating your intake of tars, resins, and other junk. the volcano uses a special heating element and then blows this heat through the chamber filled with weed into the bag. snap on the mouth piece and voila, pure texas thc.
Cool. Thanks for all the info. I have another question. What does the weed sit in on the vaporizer? Is it a plastic bowl? Or metal? Does it allow the hot air to pass through the bowl, or justs heats the bowl? Thanks again.
All I know is that there very expensive, a healthier alternative, get your fucked up faster, and dosent waste much weed.
