Yours is: The eighteenth is called Alchas or Altob, that is the Heart of Scorpio; it causeth discord, sedition, conspiracy against princes and mighty ones, and revenge from enemies, but it freeth captives and helpeth edifices; I know that the Moon in Scorpio is not very happy. I don't know what house yours is in, but generally, as it says above can mean a lot of conflict and conspiracies. What you posted previously about will is yes that is a part of it. Magic is an art, and like all arts, there are techniques needed and it takes practice - years and years of practice. Typically it's a combination of will and certain material things that create a new whole, sort of like a salad. The trick is to know what the ingredients are and when and how to use them.
Well, mine is on this chart thing, and I'm not sure if you read it going across or not but it has this: Moon Scorpio 10.15 then you skip like a column and it says II Cancer 22.24 not sure if you read the column across like that. It is from Astro-software.com I'll post it but it doesn't post with the columns. All planets work better in some signs and worse n others. In modern astrology there are only about 4 levels, and they aren't very specific. For instance: In modern astrology in Scorpio, the ruler is Pluto, which is good, Uranus is exalted which is still good, but not as good as the ruler, the Moon is in fall which is not good, and Venus is in detriment which is the worst. In classical astrology, which is what I do, there are more levels and it's more detailed. In this the rulers, exaltation, fall, and detriments are sometimes different, and there are an additional three levels which are based on what degree the planet is in. So in order of goodness here is the ancient system for Scorpio: Ruler: Mars Exaltation: None in the ancient system. This is one of the few signs that has no exaltation. Triplicity: Mars has day and night. In some signs one planet rules the day and another the night. Terms: 0-6 degrees Mars, 7-14 Jupiter, 15-21 Venus, 22-27 Mercury, 28-30 Saturn. This represents a mid-level benefit. If a planet is in term, then things will go well but not without effort. Faces: 0-10 degrees Mars, 11-20 the Sun, 21-30 Venus. If a planet is dignified by face, then it represents a fear or insecurity. Detriment: Venus Fall: The Moon This also is important in magic. In natal I would look at the above. For instance if you are asking about (and I am over-simplifying this) your finances, and I see that that particular house is ruled by Scorpio, and I see the Sun at 25 degrees Scorpio, I would say that you are always worried about money. If Jupiter was 10 degrees Scorpio I would say that you will have money, but you will not be wealthy. If Venus was in Scorpio I would say that money will be a problem, and so on. The Moon in Scorpio is in fall, so this represents conflicts. It may or may not be an actual problem, but that is literally what it signifies.
wow. you really know alot. thank you. I'd love to have you read my chart, but I do not know how to do that without disrespecting my husband. he doesn't really believe in this stuff and although he wouldn't mind me poking around a little in it, he wouldn't really approve of me going for the whole shebang, possibly... i'll have to figure out something... cause it is really interesting to me...
If he is an Earth Sign then usually are Practical & pragmatic...maybe he thinks he is protecting you from the None-sense. To be appreciated some how...
