So I'm getting my first tattoo on Thursday (12/21) and it's going to be $120. I'm not sure how much to tip the guy... It's not a big or custom tattoo. It's a great place, and I mean great. I've only gotten piercings before, so I'm not sure if I should tip a tattoo artist like I do a piercer. Any advice?
Yes tip him, think about it this way you tip a cabby, or hairdresser because they provide you with a service, therefore it's apporiate to tip a Tattooist as well, then sometime you get better deals hen it comes down to cover-ups etc. I tip at least $10
I was thinking $15 or $20, especially if it turns out even better than I imagine, which is highly likely.
tips are always nice! I tip $5 for a piercing. I suggest $10 for a tattoo plus or minus some! It should be around 10%
