    Hi everyone.

    Long-time lurker, first-time poster here.

Thought it would be cool to share our first experiences in the Dam - what we got up to, where we stayed, which shops we visited, whether we pulled a whitey etc.

My first trip was last summer and I went on my own. I'd always wanted to go, had some spare cash and some time off work, so just booked a flight and went. Spent a lot of time wandering around lost but loving it. Discovered the Jordaan in a stoned haze and visited the Van Gogh museum. Hit Amnesia CS first, then had to sit on a bench for about 3 hours before I could walk again. Couldn't believe my eyes when I first walked round the RLD! Took a canal boat ride with an American guy called Rod who had a little 4-man boat. Stayed in a cheap budget hotel, the room was as big as a the interior of a small family car and had horrible stiff stains on the carpet.

I loved every minute of it. Been 3 times since and going again in March. Bring it on!

My first time being in Amsterdam was when i was 9 years old, i had to go see some photography exposition with my parents. Absolutely hated it. Things changed loads since then of course ;)

Hmm mine was the day after i arrived,my new company picked me up at the airport and took me to my temporary house and the next day the other new coworkers which arrived were jet lagged and not in a mood to go out,me on the otherhand was on the first train to amsterdam that day. Lol im amazed i didnt get a train fine, because i didnt know what i was doing when i was pressing the buttons ofr a ticket but a price came up ,i paid and i spent my day in amsterdam getting over the jet lag high as a kite.

Been here now nearing 1 and a half years.

I was there this past November, for 8 nights....glad I took lots of pics :) I spent the first 2 days wandering around completely lost... We had a apartment on outer actenburg <spelling> Just above the red light district.. First C/S we visited was Pick up the Pieces. Wow! Plannin on a return trip for the first week of June. Overall the trip was a blast till I had to come back to the states.

My first trip I discovered my sweet NYC Deisel and I'll never be the same again lol seriously I've tried stronger weeds, but the smell and taste of this always brings me back. It was the first strain I tried at Amnesia in the Dam and it continues to be my favorite that I love to start the day off with, although right now Martian Mean Green sure kicks my (_[_) pretty good MMMMMMM love that stuff. Finished off the rest of my Morning Glory though, bummer. Guess I'll just have to settle for some Buddha and his sister too lol :sunny:

Now y'all don't tell Bongish I smoke pot... it's illegal. :dupe: lmao sorry couldn't resist

My first visit was in '86. I was visiting relatives, finished that and popped into Amsterdam. I found myself in the Bluebird. I had a piece of space cake and scored some weed. I made my way to Vondel Park and did a joint. I spent the next several hours wandering around - totally lost and loving every moment of it. I've been several times since. I was there last year in November - just before the Cup. I loved the cheese at HG Fantasy.
