Yea get into the dub stuff (or whatever you call it) a lot more. Slightly Stoopid is one of those bands that throws genre out the window. They have solid raggae stuff, led zep style acoustic stuff, hip-hopish groovy bass smash in the face stuff.

I'd definately check them out if I were you, esp if you like sublime or anything like that. And don't stop at a few songs because they have such a wide variety you might miss out on something that you'd like.

I can help. These reggae artists are really good: Burning Spear, Gregory Isaacs, Dennis Brown, Sugar Minott, Luciano, Sizzla, Eek-A-Mouse, Bounty Killer...The thing with Reggae is that it is the music for all of Jamiaca and within reggae you have different categories...like Dancehall, Roots and Culture, dub...a different kind of reggae for whatever mood you are in. Youtube has alot of reggae videos. When I first started listening to reggae, I was into Cutty Ranks (the stopper) and Burning Spear but soon began branching out and listening to every artist. A good way to discover new reggae is mix tapes also. But check out youtube music videos and type in some of these names...good luck
