Some say that if you do what you love, wholeheartedly, that the money you need to live everyday, will follow. So, if people just put their optimum energies into doing what they love to do each day, that somehow this would financially support their lifestyle. I love to make hats, and am working everyday to start a small business,( I have made 350 hats and sell them at 4 stores), where I can earn the money I need to live from doing something I love to do. How about you.?
some people do say that but it also depends on what you consider to be enough money to live on. if we all did what we loved to do a lot of us would also be broke as well. the best way i would think is to try to budget yourself and lower bills, cut corners. maybe open an online store.
i m so happy wen im broke..cus if ure doing wat u love, u dont need money to supplement ure needs, u need enough food to get by on, and during a cold winter, a little warmth... i think the real truth in doing wat u love is, u need very little money
I don't agree. It doesn't always happen so - you do what you want and you get enough money. What if what you want to do - you can't do it perfectly, or what if what you want to do - noone is interested in. I wish it would be like you said
u dont have to do something perfectly for it to b appreciated...and this is a crazy, weird world, im sure theres someone out there who wants wat u can make...no matter wat it is, perhaps u cant make a living off it, but u can b happy to know someone is buying
apparently the starting salary for graduates in that field is around 70,000 first year, but yes, you can take the knowledge you pay for and apply it elsewhere in life C|: )
I personally want to make a lot of money but use the money I don't spend consuming on better, more productive things. Also wootier, you are pretty much wrong on the idea of not needing money to survive or even do what you love. You could stretch the word "little" or say you love starving, but then again that would make your point generally moot.
high priest, perhaps u have never lived a life style that money was not the center of, i however have. and i have gone several weeks, without dime one, living on, u could say, love alone..of course i certainly ate, but eating was not in any way the focus of my behaviour, i ate merely as a side note... perhaps u merely miss my point, wen one has love one does not care about money
I'm painting - trying to make a living by my art, and do what I wanted to do in first place when I left home back then - and happy that I finally catched up on this. Sometimes when the need for money gets real loud, I gotta remember this is not about just the green energy but the whole spectrum of giving and receiving - energy that is shared on many levels. And so I just keep on doing without overly being worried, and love it ... and then it's often like another door opens by itself, and there is support and also much appreciation for the art. Also I don't wanna confine myself to painting but be open for whichever experience I might feel drawn to, and another facet of doing ... and it's like one flows into the other then, and each feeds the other and adds to the whole.
"When all your money's gone where will you be? If your love is strong, thats all you need." thats the chorus of a song called Mellow Mood. Great song. Slightly Stoopid sings it. Check it out. I demand you lol
whatever you believe to be true will be true. krishna devotees get by "on the grace of krishna". if you have faith in the universe it will give you what you need. of course... your desires and demands become very small... because you're doing what you love, and that's all you need. if there is doubt you'll have to create some form of security. if there isn't, you won't.
