Why? My name isn't Michelle?

 

that's okay, people always call me jasmine. maybe it's what our names should have been? do you look like a michelle?

 

people call me lindsay. but thats my name.

I don't know psyche. What would a Michelle look like? *Scratches chin and ponders*... so you get that sort of thing too? Just about EVERYONE I meet will absent-mindedly call me Michelle at some point.

 

Random people I dont even know call me John all the time, they just walk up and say "Are you john"?
The weird thing is that my middle name is John.

People always call me Jessica. It's weird because that was my parent's second choice for a girl name. (my name's Jennifer)
It's probably just because Jessica is the other over-used J name.

 

For me only reason of all this situation is that U are quite same looking like some other Michelle, Anna or any other. No spiritual for me.

 

people call my Leah all the fucking time. i dont know anyone named leah. fuckdamn it. i also had this teacher who constantly told me "you look... like your name should be lily..."

After you correct them, do they say "oh you look just like ..." or is it just a brain fart? If it's not the latter, I dunno, They say everyone has a twin. How's this for weird? My best friend was out shopping and ran into a couple she swore was my husband and I. Only once she ran up and started talking to them did she realize her mistake. When she told me, at first I was teasing her, like "thanks a lot! Some friend you are, you're not even sure what I look like." But she swears that this other couple was damn near identical to us, down to the clothes. Maybe they were our doppelgangers?

 

Little kids have a tendancy to call me shawn for some reason. Its happened enouph times to really make me wonder. hmm?

 

i feel ya. for the longest time hella people i didnt know called me ashley and people i didnt know were always like saying hi to me and stuff. then one day i was at the gas station & i heard some dude going "ashley! ashley!" but i ignored him because ashley isnt my name. so finally hes all like "alright bitch, ignore me then" and i told him dude im not ashley!!! i guess i went to high school with this girl and shes supposed to be my spitting image. haha i bet people call her sarah all the time too

 

It's cuz we are all related Persephone people call my wife Elizabeth all the time, and that was the name of her Medicine woman great grandmother. We know her spirit is with us all the time. There is a reason people call you another name if that keeps happening. Maybe that spirit walks with you. Maybe you were that name in a past life. Who knows? Peace....

I wouldn't worry about it - people are very unobservant I find and hardly bother to pay proper attention half the time. I'm always getting called Carol and Noelene. Both of them are cousins of mine, and I am Colleen
