Neither man nor woman should be deemed more worthy of respect than the other. You, my friend, have been a victim of bogus socialization/indoctrination. Don't blindly follow what anyone tells you, including your parents. Use your own brain. Find the criteria which is important to you, and apply it to everyone, regardless of gender. I would also encourage you to be less myopic in your outlook. Why you would feel betrayed is beyond me. It does'nt appear that this girl has any obligations toward you. I don't get permission from my friends before I pursue some course of action, unless of course they are directly involved. I doubt you do either.

Provided there is no malicious intent to hurt others or willful negligence that does the same, how someone makes a living does not figure highly in the general respect I give to everyone. The respect and kindness they demonstrate to others does.

    right theres the key
    do women deserve respect? absolutely
    do you respect women?
only if you know them personaly

yes its a different perspective, now suddenly naked bodies are people..people with freinds
people with lives outside of entertaining you
every 1 of those 100,000 women ya beat off to are people just like your freind, in fact, just like you

the question is..do you desserve respect

if you do..then they certainly do too

voyourism.. you like to look..they like being looked at

both sides desserve the same ammount of respect

No not all women need to be respected. Sometimes a women is a just a pain and shouldn't be respected. But just because she shouldn't be respected doesn't mean disrespect her because your disrespecting yourself in my opinion.

Anyone should be respected unless they give you a reason not to respect them.

I thought I had commented here. Johnschlong it is not your business or your right t judge your woman friend for the way she chooses to make a living. If there were no demand for webcam sex services, by RANDY MEN amongst whom you can surely be counted; with a nick like that; then women like her would NOT BE ABLE TO MAKE A LIVING....

I think you need to get off your judgemental high horse on this one.....

Wow. I love John Coltrane. I had to blink and stare for a minute at the screen. Great points also.

I hope things improve for your friend and yourself, Schlong. If you can't respect her, get out. And don't come back. ;)

The only 'cheap prostitutes' I have ever come across are crack whores - and THEY aren't cheap.

This is the 21st century - girls who have the will, and the bodies, to make money are just as viable, as smart, and as classy as any males I have ever met. Like pro athletes - that career path is short, but lucrative. Why is it okay for a girl to worry every time her man gets out on the playing field, risking his physical health, but if a girl uses her body to make money - same risks - it's wrong?
