Uhh I think it's possibly, but I haven't done it personally. Also, I wouldn't reccomend it even though it would probably work if the THC was extracted or it was heated a bit some how. Good luck with this one.

My friend's dad did it when he was in Europe when he was younger. A group of them was leaving Amsterdam, or entering some other place, and cars were being searched for pot and hash and whatnot, so he ate 3 grams of it. He got sick for a while, threw up A LOT, and was uber high for a while.

It's definitely possible, just remember that it's the active ingredient, so you need a shit ton less than you would pot.

it can be eaten and often is.
It's better to cook or prepare it in some way - cakes, biscuts, truffles etc than to eat it plain.
The effects can be quite intense, and can last for a couple of days.
In both Morroco and India various types of hash preparation are commonly eaten.
In terms of the time hash has been around, smoking it is actually a relatively recent innovation.

One method often used to prepare the hashish is to cook it gently in a knob of butter, which can then be added to some kind of food preparation. Truffles are about the easiest IMO.
Using hash oil for cooking would be incredibly expensive.
