I need tips on are they average? what should I do for washing?
nice dreads for 3 months! Start sewing in the lose hairs into the dreads because right now your dreads are not uber hard. You can get the tooth floss that has the loopsand put some hair in through the loop and sew it in. as for products, I've been using dr. bronners lavender hemp soap for the past 8 months i had them, which you can buy at most health food stores. I've also seen it in Gaint food stores if you have them in your area. Natural products are becoming popular these days. good luck!
nice dreads, i would just leave them alone though. And that "lemon juice" from the store is a horrible man made concoction from hell. Never cook with it, let alone put it in your nice dreads. Dr Bronners ftw!!
Erm...I am not familiar with termonology...so can you explaine how to do that? =/ same Thanks!, thanks for saying they look nice for 3months too. =) and dayuse, does that qualify for real lemon juice? it's not fake....its from squeezed lemons....I heard the citris stripped hair of its oils, and if I cut it with water it doesnt burn the crap out of me head Thanks for responding guys. =)
idk man but here is what you do, taste and smell it. More likely than not if it was sold in a grocery store it will smell like medecine. Just buy some lemons and squeeze them. Then you have an excuse to drink some tequila or what not. And you dont want to totally strip your hair becuase then it is brittle and breakes, and then one day you wake up and there is a little dread snake rolling around in your pillows not attached to your head
So does anyone else have any tips? how do I sew them?can someone post a guide or a link to one on how to sew them? I have never heard of this before.
basically ram a hook through the dread, and ball up the loose hair and then pull it through the dread, over and over and ove.r
I will take a picture of what I'm talking about because I can't explain it in words...I'll show you how to sew up a dread in a picture too. I'm not at home and I don't have my camera, so I'll get back to you!
