so i was up at my 711 with my friend and we were just chillin. he wants some condoms and we go to 711. he diddnt wanna pay so he tries to steal them. we ended up in there for 15 minutes while he tried to find a chance to take it and i was just fucking waiting for him. he never took them so we sat on a man-hole cover behind the 711 after while i smoked a cigg. well, since he had taken so long the cashier go suspicious and called the cops on us. since i had a cigg and diddnt look 18, they were charging me with that. since i was already doing something illegal they diddnt need my consent to search me. i had my vicodin on me since my mom had searched my room earlier and diddnt want it at home. the cops found it and i ended up in hand-cuffs for 2 1/2 hours in the cop car. i have to go to court in may. after i finally got home, my mom is crying and shit and talking about how i ruined christmas. and then i started to feel guilty. but that kind of left me since my sisters are being complete bitches to me. so now im quitting everything. ciggs, drinking, and drugs till at least i graduate in 2 years. this shit isnt worth it and plus if i get caught smoking even a ciggarette before my court hearing, i get put into JDC (juvienile detention center) till the hearing.
I do not know where you live... But I am fairly certain that the intake of tobacco products is legal for all ages in the U.S., only the purchase of said products is limited... But, now I'm questioning that. Could anyone confirm??
dude their just out to fuck you over, look it up man, next time you can show them you know your rights. Also, if you know your gonna be with someone trying to steal something, even if your pretty sure they wont get caught, its a good idea to not have illegal things on you, or stuff you can get in trouble for, like maybe just keep it in a stash place I dunno. but good luck getting sober man, I have a friend whos in your situation, except his shit has dragged on for so long, he decided he could just fight his parents and tough it out until he turned eighteen. He's in wilderness camp now. You did the right thing man, cause I can tell you know they are gonna drug test the shit out of you, and if you continued your usage, youd end up right were he is, same age and all that shit.

When I was out after curfew I got searched and they took my cigs so I dont think anyone under 18 can have possestion of them or buy them legally
i know in ontario your allowed to smoke and be in possesion of ciggarettes, you just cant buy under the age of 19...i was also told by many people (overage and underage) that your allowed to drink at any age, you just cant buy under 19...that one i find hard to beleve, but ive heard it from so many people, can anyone confirm that one?
ya ussually always got my smokes back fromt he cop but since like 2004 or sumthin like that its been illegal for minors to smoke or posses ciggerrrettes, in canada at least. I remember because they closed down the smoke pit in schools and told us if we are seen smoking wed get suspended. And theyr where these pamphlets everywhere about the new law.
wow... i didn't know there was a new law like that.. there is still a massive smoking area in front of my school.. maybe it will be shut down soon.
i live in rolla missouri and the law is 18 but the cops dont give a shit most of them, if your over 16.
in canada you can still legally smoke if your 16, but you cant smoke on school property, which is probably why they shut down the smoking pit
wish my school had a smoking pit i was in the same situation your in like this time two years ago... i quit for awhile on and of for 2 years and then got caught on new years eve before a big party and im prolly gettin put in iop or something fuckin blows...
