It's really strange. This past semester I had a blast. I absolutely loved what I learned, and I left all excited about going back. But since being home, I'm losing enthusiasm about it, and in fact, right now, I'm dreading going back. I just don't want to. It's so bizarre. part of it might be lots of weird dreams I've had--flunking tests, being complete clueless having no idea what was going on in classes, transferring and changing my mind but not being able to return... I mean, lots of weird dreams. But even then. It's just very strange. I'm really quite scared about going back and just... really really don't want to! And it's a kind of freaky feeling to have.
The type of anxiety you're experiencing is common among first year college students. We've all gone through it, you return home for the holiday's to the safety and comfort of home, to mom and dad, to your sisters and brothers, and it's very difficult to muster up the courage to go back to the pressures of academia. You just have to find the strength and courage within you to return. Hotwater
And that'd totally work for me as an answer except I'm not a first year college student. Hehe. I've been away from home for some time now! All the more confusing.
Ahh don't worry about it, apply yourself when you get there you'll do fine. Funny thing, these days I have dreams about when I was in school, I study, study and study and then take the test and I can't pass it! It melts! Then I wake up and man school was nothing like that, I'd study, and pass! Somebody or some thing's playing with reality! I've had that dream several times. Bustramp
I feel the same way sometime. I get real homesick, and now that I've been home for awhile I don't even wanna go back to school! When I go back I will be homesick but I have a bunch of friends there that will take my mind off of it. Don't stress! It'll be ok
