Glass or Metal Pipes?

Which are cheaper? Which would you say you prefer?

I'm thinking about picking up a pipe for me and two of my friends...

What's the average price of glass pipes? I know it's dependent on the type because some can be very detailed and all that but I'm talking about your typical, average glass pipe...how much would that set me back at?

 

i had a really nice glass piece until my brother dropped it today. . I paid only 15 for it and it was a really nice pipe. Glass are way better in my opinion metal gets really hot, fast

Like you said thouhg bro it really does depend. You can find a decent lookin spoon for in the 20 dollar ball park, or cou could get a chillium one hitter bat type thing for 10 or so. Really depends on where you're gettin it from and how well it is made. Make sure you get something thats not too thin, has a carb, and is made so that you can set it flat on a table and it wont roll over.

Id recommend investing in a nice thick glass spoon which are usually around 40 bucks

I was going to say I work in a head shop, in Canada, we sell our cheapest glass pipes for $10. But we have some really nice ones that go all the way up to $85. Glass is my preference.

 

I really prefer glass, the best for smoking heady nuggets. It doesn't heat up if it is thick, some change color over time as resin builds up and in general they are better. However, if you get a glass one watch out because if you drop it on something hard like concrete it will probably break, shatter or snap; so be careful.

 

Glass is worth spending a bit more money I think, they are such a pleasure to smoke out of. I find metal to be rather unpleasent all in all- I don't really care to be honest if it's someone elses metal pipe, but I'd only buy glass...
