Ok, my daughter is in kindergarten, and Friday they have to dress up like a nursery rhyme character. She chose Mary Had a Little Lamb. So, I have to put together a Mary costume in 4 days on zero dollars. Any ideas?

I'm thinking a cardigan, knee-length skirt, knee socks, shiny shoes (if possible...), and pin curls (if she has long hair...or you could just braid it at night, when it's wet). Something made out of gingham, if you have it. A lamb stuffed animal. Does that help at all?

    good luck,

Thanks...yeah, she has a stuffed lamb, and long blonde hair, so the pin-curls are a great idea. I don't have a bonnet, but maybe pull her hair up in high pig-tails and then curl the pig-tails. I think she has an apron somewhere...oh, maybe my apron top....thanks alot, I kind of freaked out when I heard about it. She goes to a school with a lot of rich kids, so I just know that the other kids are going to have awesome (store-bought and expensive) costumes. Thanks alot!
