I know theres an older topic but I'm too lazy/tired to look for it, the older topic was out arounf july/august so this is old and I just saw this episode. Okay I wanna critic how ignorant those fashion people are. They were afraid to touch her hair. Okay 1. Why be afraid of someones hair? I mean jesus christ it anit gonna bite. You anit gonna die. 2. They didn't respect her/all of the people on the show they aren't understanding of they're style.

Such a stigma attached to locks, it's ridiculous.

If someone told me that they were going to cut my hair, I'd be like...No freakin' way...not even if you gave me five thousand dollars.

    Jerks.

When they said they were gonna cut her hair that wasn't as ridiculous as the guy who was gonna cut it acted, he pulled out bush trimmers >____>;. Like wth she had to feel like shit after what they did to her. I would...

I wouldn't cut my hair for anything to be honest but if I was in debt and someone was offering the money i need to pay off say (10 grand) I'd do it i guess. It's hair it grows back but If I had my dreads for 10+ years I would never cut.

Those shows are so fuckin' stupid. I can't believe they're on, or that anyone watches them. I wear whatever the fuck I want to wear, goddamnit. I have more important things to do than worry if I'm fashionable. Geebus.

people at work were talking about this show today and told me i need to be on it. people just dont understand. i for one have changed many peoples attitudes towards dreadlocks. i get asked almost daily about if i really put ________ (insert any gross sticky substance) in my hair to make it look like that. with those people i sit them down, explain to them what dreadlocks mean to me, what they physically are, what they are not, how they are made, and patiently answer any annoying stupid sounding questions they ask me. This show only reinforces the power of "peer pressure" that the DARE officers describe to students across the US. Although i have not seen the show i do not feel bad for this person because they had the power to say no and are responsible for the loss of their children.
