Who has used them? Are they easy to use? Work well or not?

I bought some on line yesterday so I'm curious to know what anyone who has used them thinks.

From long experimentation, I don't think they actually pull anything out, but the smoke/heat softens wax, so if you use oil afterward ( I mash garlic in olive oil and steep for a couple days) the junk will work out faster.
I found that burning a candle in the ear versus outside of the ear made the same debris & using them without oil caused painful itchies.

I find them relief, but not a fix.
    I' d guess I use them 1-3 x in a year now. I used to be 7-9 x a year.

My son really likes them & does not get itchies.

    Thanks. :)

Yeah the website I bought them from had an oil you could buy to use if your ear got irritated from it but it was kinda expensive and it had some essential oils in it that I didnt really know if they should be going IN the ear so I didnt buy it... I think I will mash up the garlic with olive oil instead. :)

    ear candles are a scam.

doctors also say that they're dangerous. some people have damaged their hearing due to hot wax falling into their ear canal.

buy two candles and burn one in your ear and then burn the other in the air. you'll see that they both look identical; the wax from the candle melts and congeals dark yellow so it looks like ear wax, but it's not.

sorry to burst any bubbles. be careful.

yeah, that's what I said as I found that burning a candle in the ear versus outside of the ear made the same debris ...

the heat can make you feel better. I have seen this done with hair dryers and cigarettes (placed in the ear filter down)
I'll grab a pair of ear candles once-twice a year as long as I see some relief or results in flushing the ear.
    but regularly? nope.

i've never used one, but have talked to lots of people that have - they always seem to rave over the results - let us know what you think about them after you've used one :)
