So is there a minimum number of words allowed in a thread title? I can say an awful lot in 3 words... Anyway, you are right.. The connection between topic of interest and topic of knowledge is getting lost in here.. But please don't mock some of the headline-style thread titles that make Hipforums so special.. I think we ARE a group of friends here, slowly widening that grroup to include new people in our lives can only be done by capturing the imagination of other members..
No there's no minimum # of words. A subject can be conveyed in one word if that is the subject (gee isn't that obvious?) I tell ya, I'm now reconsidering raising the minimum age on this site, so we don't have so many immature ppl posting here. Should I go with 16 or 18? 18's cool cause then we can allow ppl to post any image anywhere.... Ya see, I could go and work this all out in this thread, perhaps the most important policy decision ever on this site, but nobody hardly is gonna see it cause it's not in a thread with the subject properly indicated. Sorry you missed the debate that cuts off all you young ppl....
That would be a real shame.. But I can't think of a better way of achieving what you hope to achieve here.. I have my infantile moments too, so can I be the first to suggest 40 as a starting point?
LOL! lanky! Well I was once told never to trust anyone over 30. Well those ppl are now over 60, so perhaps that would be a good point to start?
then the youth like me would be lost, with this separation how would we grow without the example from the ones before us. :bigear: we will become confused adults lol on topic shall u carry on....those that prevent people from certain freedoms, should they be allowed freedom themselves <there's ur answer>
The irony is that by setting the age at 18, the REST of us will have more freedom. I've had to put far more restrictions on this site due to the fact that we have under 18s here. And judging by the amount of DISRESPECT all mods have had to put up with from young ones, the idea is sounding better all the time...
