this place seems like it went to hell in the past day or so hahah...sonofabitch...its like all sad and negative
well, it all started when people were posting posts with titles like "hey" and "guess what" skip thought it was inapropriate and went through and deleted all the posts with said titles, people started lashing out, so skip posted a ton of meaningless posts to try to illustrate his point. people got even madder. i came on here earlier today and the forum name had went from "young hippies" to "whiners" to "young hippies" with the description of "no whiners please" i guess the "whining" was from people protesting for free speech, or the freedom to make "inapropriate" subjects. thats what happened. not sure exactly how it happened but thats the jist of it. i wish this whole thing could be over and go back to normal, but there are still new threads about it popping up. im thinking of hibernating till its over.
yeah no shit, sounds like a load of crap anyways....we should be able to say what we want on here, i thought tahts what it was all about...oh well
me too i mean, "yes!" and "hey" titles-they can be annoying if your looking for something specific, but whos looking for something specific on the yh forum? and its not like all posts like that dont have a message worth talking about. maybe some pple cant think of good titles...i dunno
i think skips whole goal with the non-appropriate title rant and everything is because skip believes that if put appropriate titles in our thread, it will attract a wider audience of people to come and actually read the thread then be put off by the name. I see skips message, as this is a forum for everybody and not just for us. But the thing is, is that for as long as i have been here, this has been some what of a small community of friends then a broad community of people you might hardly know. I know in the past regulars here have put down young people who clame to be "hippies", since most regulars here dont proclaim themselves as "hippies". This i think is kind of lame, cause i do believe as well that this is a forum for everybody as well, just sometimes not everyone can fit in. But i do miss our little community...althought i suppose it was not "ours" to begin with i have met some really cool due to this place though, and although i hoped to be done with this place, which apparently will never happen...i hope it to continue to thrive and not be a wasteland as it looks like right now. Maybe in acouple weeks things will get better
yeah, and that fact that skip changed the young hippies catagory to "whiners" would'nt turn anyone off. Or the fact that it's turned the forums upside down would never turn anyone off. In order to make your point skip, youve done more harm then anything.

OK, your endless WHINING just bought this forum a permanent new title. Congratulations! BTW, we have a COMPLAINT forum, where everyone one of these threads should've gone... But now, they can stay here where you guys can wallow in your own shit.
Skip, have you noticed that most of the people "whining", with the exception of George (and maybe Nathan, idk) haven't contributed any money to this site, yet they all were saying how important this forum is to them?
You can also note that they are some of the biggest bandwidth users here too. Despite the many lies being posted here about me, I really don't care about the money. I only suggested ppl contribute $10 so they could have their own forum as an alternative to NOT being allowed "to express" oneself fully in this forum - a place where you can create any thread title you like and be the mod and not have mods bothering you (unless we get complaints). But go ahead ppl keep lying to yourselves about why this happening. Don't take responsibilty, don't follow our guidelines, and see what happens...
