Britain today made the final repayments of its WW2 debt to canada and the usa.
Maybe at last Britain can now also stop committing its troops and propoganda always to the causes for which only the USA profits and only the USA commands.

Britain should stop kissing the ass of the USA and throw itself into the EU
in Britain, from our news broadcasts, we know more about what happens in the USA than we know about Europe. Now the debt is repaid at last we should look south rather than west

I would have more respect for the Brits if they had said shove it before they managed to pay off their debt. Who the hell even remembers it or cares about it anymore. I don't think that has been the motivation for Blair to go along with our little monkey president over here. I think they both have become rich on the backs of the people/soldiers that are actually paying for this war. And enriching their personal portfolios and those of their friends has been their sole motivation.

Its exactly why - because winston churchill said britain would never let the USA face its problems alone - something he had no right to say and out of respect to him - the people running the country seem to be following his wishes to the letter
agreed they should have said it sooner and they probably wont say it now
but damn it - the worlds problems are, and usually always have been the fault of Britain and the USA - mainly Britain

Of course it suits the bankers as well but on the bbc and the history channel we keep being reminded that britain and the USA are blood-brothers
