Known pepple who have kept goats though. Very destructive animals and I dont think they are ever really pets, except to deranged late middle aged ladies. :)

Did anyone see that nature programme on a couple of months ago?
It showed people in helicopters shooting goats in the Galapogas Islands because they weren't native to the island and were destroying all the vegetation, therefore killing off all the turtles.
Sounds really cruel, but the way the shot the film was bloody hilarious.

I have to confess to having kept goats and also to buying a pair of goats for my mother as a present (I was very young at the time so that may be a good excuse )

There is nothing like the look on someones face when you suprise them with a gift goat or pair of gift goats .

Anyway never try to take a goat out for a walk on a lead past peoples gardens , although you often find people more understanding than you thought if your dragged into their gardens by a hungry goat .

goats also eat your clothes thats another thing to watch with them , I had one eat one of my shoes

I would kick them in the shin and be like "hey biatch, get that thing outta my house before my throat swells or I sneeze myself to death!"

My mom and dad used to have a pet goat in their garden but I think it started attacking my older sisters when they were quite young so I think they either sold it or ate it I cant remember what that bit of the story is.

I know that one time a goat attacked my dad when he went into a field for a piss and he didnt see it till the goat got to within about 8 or 10 ft
he had to jump over the gate but somehow the goat followed him and we all freaked out and were running away it only followed my dad and we were up the sides of the banks watching it chase him till he turned around and booted it in the face - then it kinda made one more effort to run at him but my dad kicked it again and it fucked off down the lane and round the corner

There were us 4 children and my mom all freaking out and my dad just said "bloody thing was insane"
