anyone into them? jamband from san francisco and theyre pretty sick. Ive seen em twice in toronto and i think their guitar player, josh clark, especially has some serious skill.
Theyve got a really unique sound compared to moe. or umphrey's and the guys voice can be very soothing and lovely.

so what do you guys think? i know my friends older brother whos been to lots more shows than i have thought their set was kinda weak this past summer, but i was diggin it. lol.

not a big fan of soothing lovely vocals. I like gritty. I still havent given these guys much of a chance, can you suggest some songs or some shows off archive?

Ive seen tea leaf green live and they put on a tight show. I like the music but sometimes im conflicted about their lyrics. The song rapture for example.

    the lyrics state,

    the rapture is coming
    i feel the touch
a warm hand is on me
    life is getting rough

.... does anyone else find this weird

ehhh, my mom likes these guys. they're too stale. nothing new happening. who cares if they're tight. so is the house band for "rockstar supernova" but i'm not about to follow them. they got lucky opening up for Trey and having big red come out and noodle with them. i won't say they suck, but they are nothing special.

saw them in atl a few weeks ago. The jams were super-intense, but the songwriting kinda lacks.

we need some good writers back. over all there is alot of crap out there. its fun live music....but i want a good song. the best jams and the best moments rise from a good song....

ohhhhhh my do i love TLG. I actually just saw them yet again last night. Definately one of my favs right now.

They always put on an amazing show and the energy in the room is always incredible. Theyve all got such talent and passion and you can really feel it.

    I love them!

And as far as suggesting songs depends what you like. Theyve got mellow, theyve got upbeat, theyve got goofy, theyve got serious... they do it all. Check out their site its got some links for downloads under the music section...

yeah they're like a combination of sci, gd and phish.
so yeah, apparently those are their inspirations, you know?
    you gotta start somewhere, right?
they just haven't developed their own jam style yet, which is okay.
good things sometimes take a lot of time to accomplish, but we'll see =]
